JavaScript: I want onclick() to tell me href value ?

Hello,

I'd like to write a simple function which returns the value of the
href attribute.

I have this a-element:

<a onclick="sayhref()" href="#helloworld">hi</a>

I want sayhref() to return "#helloworld"

Tips anyone?
