DSC Registration problem

Dear All,

I am facing a peculiar problem. The DSC of a Director expired on 02/09/2016. He got a new one and tried to update the same in MCA portal. The message displayed was that there was an error and the signature is already registered. However, it was clearly evident from "View Signatory Details" that the status was "signature expired".

What is the way out of this impasse? Any suggestion / solution would be highly appreciated. The new DSC has already been registered in income tax portal and there was no problem whatsoever.

Sir,

This is the common problem which we as a practising professional are facing. Please raise a ticket on MCA Portal and mail them the serial number of the dsc and issuer details.

I hope your matter will be resolved asap.

After entering the DIN you get a message “"You have already registered your DSC as a director against the entered DIN. Do you want to update your DSC?", you click “yes” and proceed.
