2) Other than corporate-
a) trunover from 1.50 crores to 5.00 crores - form no. 88A
b) Above Rs. 5.00 crores- Form no. 88

Dear Sir,

The Limits for WB VAT Audit i.e. Form 88 is Turnover exceeding Rs.5 crores and that for 88 A is between 1.5 to 5 crores for FY 2014-15. However, for Company Assessee, there is no such limit, it is mandatory to submit Form 88 even if Turnover is 0.

Further for FY 2015-16, the Form 88A has been done away with and the Limit of Turnover has been raised to Rs.10 crores for WB VAT Audit Form 88, However, again for company assessee, there is no Turnover Limit, it is mandatory to submit Form 88 even if Turnover is NIL.

Otherwise, Penalty upto Rs.5000/- is imposed for Non-Submission.
