Dear Mr More,

With reference to the trailing mail, please note that we have been receiving lot of mails, communication and  info with regard to School Audit but no such mail/communication is being received with regard to the College Audit being allotted by Director of Public Instruction, Govt of West Bengal.

Would appreciate if we can get info with regard to the same and College Audit Format and Report in Excel which shall be beneficial to the members.

GIST OF INTERACTION  AS FOLLOWS:

1)  Both new format (which is in questionnaire form) as well as old format of audit reports are to be submitted.

2)  Audit report submission

a)  One copy to school

b)  One Copy to D I

c)  One copy to Directorate of School Education Salt Lake + CD

3) Those who do not have contact details of concerned school, can

get details by following steps:

STEP1: Go to link http://www.wbbse.org/aschools.htm

STEP 2: Click on the name of district , you will get name , address phone no of different schools in that district. 

If details not available there, they can also 

contact concerned DI, whose details are available at the web site of Directorate of school education(DSE).  Link is:

http://www.wbsed.gov.in/wbsed/default.html

4) If school says that accounts are not ready, they should be reminded for last date of audit.  In case of non response or negative response,give a letter to DI, and if there is no response from DI  then give letter to Director of school education.

 

5) If school says that audit for 2012 has been done by other auditors and they do not want audit again, than school should be told the fact that the audit of  2012 by other than allottee auditor is null and void. Even after this, if the school do not agree, take a written reply from them for this matter and a copy of audit report and forward the same to DI and DSE with a "complain letter". 

SUGGESTIONS GIVEN:

1)   Appointment letter should contains the complete address, phone no., email id etc  of school and concerned DI. 

2) Appointment letters can be sent via email or post to auditors.

3) Web site should be able to accept online application for school audit  & Appointment letter can be downloaded from web site itself.

4) Previous year's audit report should be uploaded in web site.

5) Details of Previous year's auditors should be uploaded in web site

SCHOOL AUDIT: COLLECT APPOINTMENT LETTER: LAST DATE OF AUDIT 31ST JANUARY

This is to inform the members that the audit allotment for the year 2011-12 to 2012-13 was published on 1st November, 2013 in the School Education Department website. It has been seen that 442 allotment letters (please see attachment) have been lying with the department and the selected auditors for these cases have not yet collected audit allotment letters from the Directorate.  Members are requested to collect the letters on production of ' Application  form Reciepts' or the Auditors in person may approach themselves with production of their identity cards to the Grant-in-Aid section in the  Directorate of School Education, Salt Lake City, Bikash Bhawan, 7th Floor, Kolkata - 700091, from 11am to 4pm on all week days till 15th January, 2014. If the selected auditors do not collect the letters by 15th, their appointment letters will be cancelled and the same will be re-allotted to the existing panel of auditors. The last date by which audit is to be completed has been extended till 31st January, 2014."""
