Ref: PAN application of society (NGO)

Your client should have received two Certificates  (I. E.  Registration certificate under The societies Act, 1860 and registration Certificate  under the Bombay Public Trusts Act/ Indian Trust Act. 

Kindly confirm availability  of above Two Certificates. 

Your PAN has to be registered as Trust site it's NGO. 

The societies formed under Societies Act,  1860 can be registered  under Bombardier Public Trusts Act/ Indian Trust Act. 

Therefore,  your PAN will come under Trust Category.
