Subject:  e-Serve Tax implication on Interest on NRO FD

Dear All,

Kindly advise on the tax implications on interest earned on NRO FD.

Also clarify on the applicability of Form 15G for Non deduction of TDS in case of interest earned on NRO FD.

Whether Banks deduct TDS on interest earned on NRO FD even if the GTI for the year is less than Rs.150000/- and Form 15G is submitted with the Bank.

Regards
CA. Pawan Agarwal
