Updates from MCA Website

 

The Companies Act, 2013:

·         The Companies Act 2013 was notified in the Gazette of India on 30^th August, 2013. The Gazetted Copy of the Act is available at the following link:

·         First tranche of Draft Rules on 16 Chapters have been placed on MCA website on 9^th September, 2013 for inviting comments/suggestions from the stakeholders. Last date of giving comments/suggestions is 8^th October, 2013. The Draft Rules are available at the following link:

·         MCA, vide a Notification dated 12^thSeptember, 2013, has notified 98 Sections of the Companies Act, 2013 which have into force w.e.f. 12^th September, 2013 . The Notification is available at the following link:

·         Considering certain difficulties expressed by stakeholders in implementation of certain provisions/sections notified on 12^th September, 2013, MCA has issued Clarification, vide General Circular No. 15/2013 dated 13^th September, 2013. The Circular is available at the following link:

Damodaran Committee Report: 

Damodaran Committee (headed by Sri M Damodaran) for Reforming the Regulatory Environment for Doing Business in India has submitted its Report dated 2^nd September, 2013 to MCA and the Ministry has placed this Report on its website which is available at the following link:
