Hai,

I have some problem in CTD2000, After running 2/3 days on my system(windows NT), when i start the 'APPCONSOLE' it is giving error as
"The Application log file is full",
i reinstall the CTD2K eventhough it is giving same error.
CTD2K in windows 95 is not giving any error, it is working fine but we need ctd2k in win NT because
'PDF Writer'  work only on  Win NT.
Please let me know what was the cause.
Thanks in Advance,
Regards,
Suresh.

Hi Suresh,

That's not a CTD bug!

WinNT and Win2000 use a log system to keep messages from the system and the applications. You can check these messages using Programs -> Administrative Tools (Common) -> Event Viewer. With menu "Log/System" you can check the messages generated by the system. "Log/Applications" shows you the messages generated by the applications which support log messages like App Console.

App Console generates a huge amount of messages! So the available space for application event logs will be wasted soon. To prevent the error message you can change the Event Log Wrapping to "Overwrite Events as Needed".
