New SoP regulations are published &
Applicable from 20/05/2014. Important points are as below -
(1) Contract Demand allowed on 11KV upto 3000 KVA, on 33KV upto 10000 KVA & on EHV for more than 10000KVA.
(2) You can increase your C.D. at the current Voltage Level if necessary upto above mentioned limit.
(3) If you are paying Voltage Level Surcharge, you should apply for cancellation of Surcharge with immediate effect ie from 20th May 2014 quoting the new SoP regulations.
(4) Express Feeder - Feeder from substation to connect to single consumer single point supply.
(5) Burnt Meter should be replaced by the licensee, if due to causes attributable to the licensee. Consumer should pay if he is responsible.
(6) Now augmentation of Transformer can not be treated as New Substation as being claimed by MSEDCL. Hence in such cases New Connection should be released in 3 months & not 12 months
(7) New SoP regulations can be downloaded from website MERC - link Rules & Regulations.
(8) Copy of Marathi Press Note is attached herewith.
