LBT Tax Payers of Vasai-Virar Region,

Due to the outstanding efforts of Mr. Ajay Modi, President
of VIMA (Vasai industrial manufacturers’ Welfare Association) and Mr.
Viren Shah, President of FRTWA (Federation of Retail traders Welfare
Association) and powerfully presenting the case of tax payers of
Vasai-Virar region the Govt. of Maharashtra, Urban Dev-II has issued
the following instructions and directives curtailing the powers of the
administration by reducing the harassment to the tax payers in respect
of payment of tax, assessment and visiting premises of the tax payers.
Maharashtra Govt. Urban Department II have sent a strong instruction
to all Commissioners of respective Mahanagar Palikas of Maharashtra
that without the permission of Urban Chief Secretary, no municipal
staff has permission to visit premises of any tax payers.
