Dear President/Secretary:
I just saw the guidelines and would like to suggest that clause D(5) regarding drivers need slight modification. When we are allowing maids, cooks, milk, mineral water, newspapers to the apartments what is the logic or justification or rationale for not allowing drivers to come to the appointment to collect keys or deliver goods brought in the car ? As far as I remember, this was not discussed / confirmed at the EC meeting.
I would request the President & Secretary to reconsider this prohibition of drivers not coming to the apartments. I don’t agree to this restriction. This has to be relaxed.
My driver who is with me for the last 28 years is not only a driver but also a family member. He is a personal assistant cum helper to me. He goes to my bank, grocery store, pharmacy, relatives/friends houses to get or give things and does all sorts of personal work for me since I am a 83 year old senior citizen living alone in the apartment.
I will be needing my driver at my apartment and request the relaxation for all senior citizens and those residents who are in need. The decision to allow a driver at the apartment is to be left to the owners who will take the responsibility for complying with the guidelines about the precautions to be taken.
Thanks and Regards,
