Today I am traveling to Bangalore by 06.10 flight and had to leave by 4.00 am. I had to leave home without taking bath and freshing up because there was no water. I am highly disturbed and am writing this email from the airport. Staying in a premium building like Fortune Towers is not a pleasure any more. Moreover I would like the Society to share the data about the water being saved by such restrictions. If the water saves is not phenomenal then we should to restore 24x7 water supply by outsourcing water tankers immediately.

I think water should be provided all through the day and night even by buying tankers for which extra charge can be collected from the residents if association funds are not available.  If necessary a special EGM can be called by the EC to discuss and fix the charges payable by each apartment owner/resident.  EC can calculate and suggest the cost per Sq ft to be charged which can be discussed and approved by the EGM.  All residents should excercise utmost care, restraint and economy in using the water at all times and servants, drivers etc are to be educated on this.

Request EC to consider this.   Thanks.

Greetings !

Completely agree to Vinod and Vithalrao's mails.

Request few residents to give their names on this forum on being a part of the water management committee.

The fortune towers committee had requested for the same some time back but unfortunately only I volunteered and hence a water committee could not be formed to discuss the issue and take forward its implementation.

Dear Residents,
Let's come forward and do the needful immediately so that all our woes could get sorted.
Request to send your consent and be a part of the water committee. Ideally, we need 2 volunteers from each block.

Thanks and regards,

Greetings of the Day !

I do agree with all the residents.  Water must be available at all time with some cost if required.

Special AGM is required to be held, as we need to plan for the up coming Summer also.

Thanks & Regards,

Dear all

I agree whole heartedly with everything expressed herein

We have done a great job ensuring 24 /7 electricity when other buildings in the area did not have it.

If we don't ensure 24/7 water  then not only do we put the residents to inconvenience in their personal routine but also will affect the image of our building both with respect to rentals n capital values

Whatever our different views am sure this is an outcome nobody wishes to happen

I too agree that in a community like ours all basic necessities including water must be available 24 7 barring which the pleasure of living reduces largely... Hoping this matter gets resolved at the earliest.

While I am all for water conservation, I sincerely request a relook at the current strategy.
Other premium communities like My Home, Lanco Hills, Jayabheri etc have managed to ensure 24x7 water supply to their communities.

We should go for water tankers to make up for the deficit, even if we have to pay a slight premium to get good quality water from the tankers..

Thanks
