We invite you to join the U.S. Arny Fort Ord cleanup staff at the February 1, 2020, Community Involvement Mobile Workshop. Join us at the open house then take a 90 minute guided bus tour that includes a drive to and on-board presentations of the Fort Ord landfill, a habitat restoration site and groundwater treatment systems. This event is free and no reservations are required as it is first come, first served. Each tour is the same, so pick a time that works for you. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour departure.
Bus Tours—depart from Building 4522
Tour 1: Departs 10:00 a.m.
Tour 2: Departs 11:45 a.m.
Don’t want to tour, then join us at the Open House from 9:30 am – 1:15 p.m.
Directions from Highway 1: Take Exit 406. Stay on Lightfighter Drive. Pass General Jim Moore Boulevard. Turn left onto Colonel Durham Road and then turn left onto 8th Avenue. Turn Right onto Joe Lloyd Way. Building 4522 is on the left at the end of the road.
