Invitation: Free Guided Bus Tours of Fort Ord Cleanup Sites / Community Involvement Mobile Workshop on Saturday, July 13, 2019

We invite you to join the Fort Ord cleanup staff at the July 13, 2019, Community Involvement Mobile Workshop. Join us at the open house then take a 90 minute guided bus tour that includes a drive through portions of the Fort Ord National Monument (which includes the Impact Area) and on-board presentations on the munitions cleanup and prescribed burns. This event is free and no reservations are required. Each tour is the same, so pick a time that works for you.


This is our most popular tour. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour departure.


Bus Tours—depart from Building 4522
Tour 1: Departs 10:00 a.m.
Tour 2: Departs 11:45 a.m.
Don’t want to tour, then join us at the Open House from 9:30 am – 1:15 p.m.

Directions from Highway 1: Take Exit 406. Stay on Lightfighter Drive. Pass General Jim Moore Boulevard. Turn left onto Colonel Durham Road. Turn left onto 8th Avenue. Turn Right onto Joe Lloyd Way. Building 4522 is on the left at the end of the road.
