Dear Friends,
İ am happy to inform you that EFORT has approved FORTE to write regularly in Orthopaedics Today.

Please provide me your suggestions about topics and your possible invited authors. Then we could send them a formal invitation for writing their articles.

I have one. To write about the training model in each country , one at a time, in a very short table with some national comments

This is great.

Do we have any idea on when we will start?
Do we have time to prepare something?
We have ready the article of Dr Vilar, so we can add this in our list.
I like the idea of having an article from each country and an indirect comparison of the different systems!
We need to write about FORTE news and updates for us too.
I think we need to decide how we are going to structure this.
I suggest to separate it in three parts.
1) FORTE news,
2) invited article from a leader in a field and,
3) recently published interesting articles/ developments in the field.

I will think of potential authors and get back to you soon.
Apologies for replying all at once, but this is a very busy period and it is very difficult to keep up with such short deadlines.

Thanks
Nick

Hello,

very good news indeed!
I agree with all the suggestions.
I agree with Nick - we should establish a common structure to follow every time. We will not have things to publish in every topic always, and sometimes we will have to much content for one edition. But we should have the same format.
So I pick up from Nick:
1 - FORTE news
2 - Expert space (invited article, etc)
3 - Resident space (talking about/comparing different countries training programs is a MUST DO. Thank you very much Francisco)
4 - Press space (last important studies/events)

Congrats Gazi! Well done!

And, social media and communication committe should be in charge of this. So, I think it will be Caglar work, right?
Caglar, I ask you again - do you need help in this committee?? We have the German girl that showed interest, what do you think? Please reply.

Joao,

of course any help, any time will be appreciated :)

when the new site is online, I don't think it will be much trouble to
update news and information on the web.
this old and clumsy web site and website control desk has driven me crazy :)

but for all other social media and comminication issues, german traumatology girl or someone else
will be just fine.

by the ways,
what lacks with the new website and also with the efort website is that
their views are not flexible for tablets, ipads and smartphones.
maybe this is not a big issue for efort, since a huge percentage of their users are older
and do lots of their work on computers and laptops.
however, since we are 'young', I think we should be more up-to-date and contemporary,
but I don't think that we can do anything about it right now.
first lets hope that the site is online soon.
then we will start to ask for improvements :)

Perfect Caglar!

Thanks for the update! It would be good if you have some help (always is) and it would be good to have some German representation, specially since their winning 7-1 with Brazil!! ;)
Gazi, do you have the German girl contact?
