FOrTE's former educational representative message

Hi guys,

this is to let you know a message from Francisco Guerra Pinto, the former Educational Rep from FOrTE, regarding my email about EFORT support.

"I’m sorry to drop in like that. Thank you for keeping me in the loop. 

About this FORTE - EFORT topic I just want to add this:

a) These EFORT guys every year have the same approach: they’re “very” willing to do a long discussion but always stop before giving FORTE anything. 

b) The proof is that we keep paying (don’t we?) our boot at EFORT meetings

c) They love this political topic because, in internal meetings, it’s very “cool” to be connected with FORTE

d) I suggest you ask something like: 10 hours of monthly secretary support (it’s VERY important); the EFORT boot for free; lower fees at EFORT meetings for 5 (or 7) FORTE members every year. Any of these don’t take much more than some good-faith, they won’t spend money with you, they just get little less

e) If, even for this, they drag you in to deep conversation but no support, you’ll have a clear view of the whole picture

f) Dr Cassiano is a little different from the previous. He is interested in education but I’m not sure he’s going to walk an extra mile for FORTE

I would also like to suggest that we make an "historical" review of FOrTE. Otherwise in one year or two, nobody will now who where the past presidents and committees. I don't mind putting things together since I've joined (july 2013). Who can pick up the rest?

Hi,

Just to clarify the booth was free this year as well as the meeting room - however we had to pay for the basic furnature package for the booth.
