Fort Collins ALT.NET'ers*,
First and foremost, if you missed last night's meeting, you should be ashamed of yourselves. All that beer, all the geeky goodness... it could have been yours. Thanks again to Levi McDonald for supplying the frosty beverages and to Dave Bouwman & DTS Agile for hosting the event.
Recap:
Somewhere in between techie conversations, Mr. Bouwman gave a rousing presentation titled "How to Give a PowerPoint Presentation that Doesn't Suck"** which has inspired the first rule for this group: Don't give crappy PowerPoint presentations. Seriously...
Our next gathering will be Tuesday, September 9th, 6pm - 8pm(-ish) at DTS Agile. More details to follow...
The format of our events will remain flexible, but it was agreed that multiple, short presentations was the best way to start. The table is open to presenters, and you don't necessarily have to be an expert in a given topic in order to present to the group. As this is a collaborative venture, if you feel like exploring a given topic and presenting your findings, just step up and say so. Plan to discuss your topic for ~30 minutes followed by open discussions. If you need more time than that, let us know ahead of time and we'll schedule accordingly. We'll ideally have at least two topics presented at each gathering event.
There was a suggestion that we consider forming a group open source project. While there were a couple of strong ideas for such a project, nothing was officially decided, so if you have any suggestions, bring them to the table at the next meeting or via the Google Group.

- Inversion of Control/Dependency Injection with Castle Windsor (Dave Bouwman)
