The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the National Stuttering Association is thrilled to host the Dallas, Texas Family Fun Day! Family Fun Days are specifically designed to support families with children who stutter. The NSA is a non-profit organization where people come together to share their experiences to enrich each other's lives. Through education, advocacy and research we learn that we are not alone. Together we are strong!

What kids can expect:

Meet other students who stutter, so you know you're not alone!
Engage in fun and self-affirming activities
Find out how other students handle their stuttering
Learn about stuttering
Meet successful adults who stutter
Free pizza lunch!

What parents & SLPs can expect:

Find out what you can do to help your child
Increase your knowledge about stuttering
Find out how to work as a team (family, school & SLP)
Meet and share experiences with other parents & people who stutter
Break out sessions for kids, teens, and parents
Free pizza lunch!

Family Fun Day Details

WHAT: Family Fun Day: Kids and teens will have a chance to meet others who stutter while parents can connect with other parents in a fun environment

WHO: Young children (ages 7+), 'tweens, and teens who stutter, their families, and the professionals who work with them

WHEN: Saturday February 23, 2012; 8:30AM - 2PM (Please register by February 15th)

WHERE: UTD Callier Center for Communication Disorders - 811 Synergy Park Blvd., Richardson, TX 75080 (MAP IT!)

HOW MUCH: $20/attendee ($20 total for families attending together).
