 गरीब आदमी पार्टी( Gareeb Aadmi Party) के संस्थापकों में ज्यादातर वो लोग हैं , जो अन्ना जी के आन्दोलन के समय से ही रामलीला मैदान, जंतरमंतर, इंडिया गेट, आदि जगहों पर आन्दोलन के महत्वपूर्ण साथी और भीड़ का एक हिस्सा हुआ करते थे, आन्दोलन को मुकाम तक पहुंचाने के लिए बनाई गयी राजनीतिक पार्टी का भी हिस्सा रहे, एक कार्यकर्ता के रूप में दिन रात एक करके पार्टी को जन जन  तक पहुंचाने का कार्य करते रहे, क्योंकि उन्हें पार्टी के आकाओं पर पूरा भरोसा था, और उम्मीद थी कि ये देश जरूर बदलेगा, क्रान्ति होगी,  क्रांतिकारियों कि भांति देश भक्ति में लीन होकर नई बनी पार्टी के लिए कार्य करते रहे !

 मेरे प्यारे देश वासियो  ! कुछ दिनों कि जद्दोजहद के बाद अंततः हमने एक अलग गरीब आदमी पार्टी बनाई है जो अब आपके सामने है|
