What you like to have in a forum?
What facilities? Interactivity ...

A wishlist? I thought we'd rather start from compiling a list of solid
general must-haves. For couple of days I've studied documentation of
phpBB and I think we definitely need to get in touch with someone who
administers or administered a forum to share his/hers experience with
us.

Oh, and a catchy name to register the project somewhere :)

My picks:

1. as previously mentioned OpenID which would settle authentication
with Google, Yahoo and alikes.
2. similarly, user authorization with sites like Facebook, MySpace and
other popular + perhaps integration with other features offered by
their APIs.
(As a genuine sociopath I have no idea what would it be, but someone
who uses these services might put some light on the subject.)

In couple of months I'll start a new web-based project for my
employer, so I'd gladly participate in the forum to evaluate fpWeb
package.
