First off, thanks for a fine little tool.

Like another poster I would like FormulatePro to recognize existing fields, but I understand that could be a major undertaking.

A feature that would partially make up for not being able to use the existing fields would be a Nudge function. The way I'm envisioning this, if you had a text box selected, then Command arrow (left, right, up, or down) would shift the text box in that direction by 1 point. I find it difficult to get that initial click in just the right place (especially vertically), whereas I don't think it would be difficult to achieve a nice uniform look to text boxes if there were a Nudge feature.

A possible bug: Sometimes that last character or two gets dropped after a text box is closed.

thanks,
Paul

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. I was cleaning out my inbox and ran across this.

These are all great ideas. The best way to get them implemented is to look at the Issues list . Find any issues on the list that match your concerns and star them. Then, file a new Issue for each remaining bullet point (ie, the ones that weren't already there).

The way I work on FormulatePro is I look at the issues w/ the most stars and work on those.

Also, realistically, detecting existing form fields is pretty hard given the Cocoa APIs (unless they've changed lately).

Thanks,
-andrew
