This was a life saver when I was applying for a job last minute and
wouldn't have scanner/faxing resources. However, there were a few
things that troublesome.

The first was a lack of undo. If I accidentally deleted all of the
text I had selected, I couldn't undo it. *Very* frustrating.

The second is having no help documentation. Even a very thin
description of some of the non obvious functions would be very
welcome.

Third is font control. I find the default of 12 is too big for many
PDF's. I found 10 to be easier to use. However, I have to select every
font box I created and change it to 10 in order to have a uniformity
of font size on my document.

Thanks!

Hi,

These are all great ideas. The best way to get them implemented is to look at the Issues list . Find any issues on the list that match your concerns and star them. Then, file a new Issue for each remaining bullet point (ie, the ones that weren't already there).

The way I work on FormulatePro is I look at the issues w/ the most stars and work on those.

I think this is the most starred issue right now, so it's on my radar.

Some tips show at startup, but I agree this could be better.

You actually can change the default font/size, tho it is non-obvious. Here are foolproof step by step instructions to set the default font:

- Choose the arrow tool
- click twice on part of the document with nothing placed there.
- at this point you should not be editing text and nothing should be selected
- choose the text tool
- hit command-t (aka apple-t) to bring up the font palette
- choose a font/size
- now any new text box will have this font as the default font

Thanks!
