Hi all!

Is there any way to stop editing a textfield other than clicking on a
different tool (like the Marquee Tool)?
When filling out forms it's handy to quickly move from field to field
without having to click around too much.

If there's no such functionality, I have two suggestions:
- Use the Escape key to stop editing the current textfield.
- Use the Enter key (the one on the numpad) to stop editing the
current textfield, use the Return key (the one on the aplhanum-part of
the keyboard) to insert linebreaks and use the Escape key to cancel
and revert to the previous state (or remove the field if it's newly
created). AKA Photoshop Typetool Style. Only downside to this method
is that not everyone expects Escape to completely undo what they've
just done, which can be a nasty surprise. However, once you get used
to it, it works great.

Great and useful application, so keep up the good work!

Yours,
Andra

Not that I know of, sorry.

Generally what I do when adding a lot of text is stay in the text tool. You can move a text field that's being edited by holding down command-option and dragging it.

This is an interesting idea. You should look at the Issues list . Find any issues on the list that match your concerns and star them. Then, file a new Issue for the suggestion you have if it's not already there.

The way I work on FormulatePro is I look at the issues w/ the most stars and work on those.
