error message 4294967253

after scanning a document in Vuescan, I try to save that document to
Formulate Pro for editing.

I get message "error 4294967253". Is there a fix fir this.

or can you recommend a product that will allow me to edit scans.

FormulatePro can open PDF documents. Can you scan to a PDF, and then open the resulting PDF in FormulatePro?
