I am a teacher in Texas and looking for something I can use for Academic testing that I can adjust as needed.
We are a Mac campus, does Formscanner work on Macs? Would I need anything special to make it run? I know Java is not really a thing in Macs now and the install requires Java, so will it run ok for me to use?

Also, If I have a few questions with more answer choices than "F" can they be added as you did for the "F" ones?

Hi, I have installed and run formscanner on a Mac with the intel chip before but I haven't tried on the M1 chip. You will need Java to run Formscanner.
You can make any template that suits your needs that shouldn't be a problem.

I have it installed and running. I installed Java too. I can make the template and run a scan, but no .csv file is created. I tried to run the Ghostscript download, but I'm not sure how to install it on my mac. When I click the "start-image-by-image-scan" does the created .csv file just show up somewhere? Do I have to locate it?

On windows it shows a popup, allowing you to choose the location to save the csv. If you do it via command line then it saves to the same directory as the images you were scanning. Try checking the directory where the images were. If you continue to struggle let me know, I will try to reinstall on my Mac to help figure it out.

I got it running. I am trying to update a form, and then no forms wanted to open anymore. I am going to restart my machine and see if that helps. I'll keep you all informed as I go. Thank you for the assistance.
