The ability to edit templates

Is there anyway to add the ability to edit templates after hitting the save button? I make 5-7 templates in the first couple weeks of the year and its really tedious to go through the entire process over and over again. Is there anyway to add the ability to edit templates you make things a little easier in the long term for me and my crew. Im sure others would appriciate this ability as well.
