Hello there!

I am attempting to trying to adopt the multiple name generator approach that Reins et Al 2021 provided in their paper. I am looking for code that will allow me to select a subset of random names (up to 5) from the final set of 12 names that the original multiple name generator uses..Currently, Reins has it set up to take each and every name using a loop function. I would like the option to select a random subset of names from the list so that I can address both respondent burden and common method variance.

So for a full list of names up to 12 as Reins et al 2021 has set up, I would like code to be able to select a random subset of names (like five) and in a loop ask the ego or individual to answer questions relating to only those five individuals for a few questions ... and then a new randomized set of 5 for another set of interpreter questions.

Any suggestions that you can provide me would be so much appreciated!

Best wishes,
Natasha
