Recent connectivity issues

Dear all,

Recently I have been having problems connecting to formr. For example, yesterday around 4pm Central European Time I could not connect to formr. The page loaded endlessly and I could not continue working.

Was there a specific reason for this phenomenon yesterday?

Further, I have had similar problems over the last few weeks. I was wondering if this was a temporary problem as I am about to start my study with formr. I just want to make sure that I will not have any problems in the near future.

Hi Florian,

We recommend self hosting, see here. The freely available formr.org server seems to be overloaded owing to the number of users. Also, the OpenCPU server (which we use for R), recently crashed and had to be recreated. Generally, the hosting is not very reliable, the uptime has ranged between 97 and 99.2% recently.
