Hi all,

I have recently had to install R into a new computer so I used the new version. While trying to install the formr package, I got the following error:

> install.packages("formr")
Installing package into ‘C:/Users/lil_l/OneDrive/Documents/R/win-library/4.0’
(as ‘lib’ is unspecified)
Warning in install.packages :
  package ‘formr’ is not available for this version of R

A version of this package for your version of R might be available elsewhere,
see the ideas at

I am sure that there is a straight forward work around but I haven't been able to find it and I am relatively new to R. Is anyone able to let me know what I should be doing?

Thanks in advance!

Lindsie

Hi Lindsie,

I don’t think the formr package is available on CRAN yet. As a result, install.packages(“formr”) won’t work.

Try this instead

Install.packages(“devtools”)

devtools::install_github(“rubenarslan/formr, force = TRUE)
