This counting and numeral identification game is great for children who know how to count to ten or beyond, but always begin at one when they count. They may also also be at the point where they are learning to add two collections of items.
Pre-Test: Ask a child to say the number word just after a given number word in the range of one to ten. Can they say the correct number word after a given number, without beginning at one when they count?
Just like snap, cards are dealt face down to all the players. Each player takes turns to turn one card from their pile over and places this in the middle. However, instead of slapping the pile of cards and saying snap when two cards match, in this game of snap plus one, the pile of cards are snapped only when the new card is one more than the previous card.

I installed notepad-plus-plus on Ubuntu machine. It was working fine. With no evident reason it stopped to work. Icon disappeared from application list. When I launch shell script /snap/notepad-plus-plus/current/bin/notepad-plus-plus I got error message:

SNAP and CRIB scores are new tools to characterize severity of illness of newborns. The purpose of this prospective study was to evaluate the contribution of SNAP and CRIB to a conventional model (CM) consisting of birth weight (BW), gestational age (GA), Apgar scores, race and gender in the prediction of total hospital charges (THC) and length of stay (LOS). Demographic and medical information was collected on all 438 infants admitted to NICU at Packard Children's Hospital over a six month period. The relationship (r2) of SNAP and CRIB along with CM to log THC and LOS was evaluated by using a stepwise linear regression analysis. Results are as follows: BW and GA are the principle determinants predicting THC and LOS. The total prediction (r2) of the 5 factor CM was 0.53 for THC and 0.493 for LOS (See table). For the explanation of THC, r2 improved from 0.530 to 0.593, 0.611 and 0.623 when SNAP, CRIB, and SNAP plus CRIB were added to existing CM. For LOS there was only little improvement on r2 when SNAP, CRIB, and SNAP plus CRIB were added to existing CM(r2 = 0.500, 0.519 and 0.520 respectively). The additional information for predicting LOS obtained from SNAP and CRIB may not justify the incremental effort needed to obtain these scores.

They each contain a base sequence which is a subset of the next larger one and appear to correspond to unique sequences in the L cistron of the genome. Possible origins for these snap-back molecules are discussed.
