I think yeah. I was thinking to hold Noha Imam Hussain sessions at my home (you can do it in a mosque as well), and give some pieces of cloth to people to wipe their eyes with those pieces. I collect them at the end, sew them together and make my Kafan with Imam Hussain tears.
Thanks. We still can cry over Imam Hussain and wipe our tears with our Kafan. Rubbing Kafan against shrines in Najaf and Karbala is a good idea too. Unfortunately, I haven't done Zyarat Najaf and Karbala. Inshaallah I go with my wife and buy two Kafans once I get married (please do dua).
Someone in the UK, a ShiaChat member, wanted to send me a kafan as a gift. I was deeply touched by the generosity, but declined. I think it is best to give it as a gift in person, to someone you know in real life. Maybe it's best to talk to the person before you give them the kafan. You could say that you have a kafan that you want to give to someone but you wonder if they would be offended by that. Then explain how it's mustahab to own the kafan before you need it. If that person thinks that is very kind of you, you could say that he/she is the one you want to give the kafan. Of course they might be shocked but you can reassure them that the gift was made with a good intention. If the person refuses, then have the same talk and give it to someone else.
Unfortunately I forgot to buy it immediately when I got to Iraq, so now it has only touched the tharee3s of Imam Hussain a.s, Abu Fadhl Al Abbas and Al Hurr. I want it to have visited all the imams in Iraq, but I'm not going to Baghdad, Samarra or Imam Ali any more on this trip. Why did I not think about this beforehand???
'If I have done or said anything to you then please forgive me' text message to half the world , meaning it probably wasn't accepted in which case I'll have to go again. This would explain why I didn't receive any life changing revelations there, but only grew my disdain for freshies as I shared a room with 3 of them!
I guess for me its kinda the reverse of what women feel when they look at their, say, wedding dress-for them, they have memories of a very happy day, the beginning of their new life with their husband, the joy they had and the anticipation of having kids and how they were looking forward to the future.
I look at my kafan and think, this is for a day in my future where i will leave this "place" and in sha Allah begin a new happy, pain free life, leaving all the chaos, loss, stress, etc behind, and hopefully, in sha Allah, be closer to Allah and the ahle bayt than I am now.
I keep it in my vitamin/supplement cabinet so i see it every day-it doesnt bother me but even the mere mention of it freaks my husband out, lol... I'm like look, you have one job.. if something happens to me, you make sure I'm buried with that!
Salam I aware about existence of other religions in India too anyway traveling is a recommended act in Islam which I hope so that you too travel outside your virtuality in order to lose your stereotype about Iran too.
I have slept on the Alchemical Red sulphuric sands of Hormuz and transmutated myself into Gold. Young boy, I have visited Persia before you were even an idea in the galaxies. You are a product of propaganda and brainwashing. You must enter into a deep state of tafakkur and travel inside your mind.
Hinduism you accuse me of insulting? It was the Hindus who brought to the forefront the opening of the Chakras. Rid your self of all preconceived ideas about others and meditate young lad. Meditation brings about the shining of the face as you manifest the divine names of your Lord. Right now you are a puppet playing a game for the social engineering terminator factory. What model are you?
I have engaged in mortal kombat with many nerds and geeks online. I have established my online street credibility. Without quoting chunks of texts and regurgitating other people's ideas. Read the Holy Quran my friend and open the magical realities that lay deep inside that wonderful person of yours and destroy that judgemental front that has been placed in there by outside influences.
But... Yeah.. I been to iran many times.. I didn't understand why I saw thousands of women walking around with white plasters on their nose? I asked my mum if it was part of the hijjab. She didn't know why. Do you know biradarrrrr?
You & your mother must be older than whole of universe although you don't know a simple thing which all of your satire is based on insulting to Shia women specially Iranian women & mixing it with insulting to whole of Indians based on your racist bias against Shia muslims & Indians .
Everyone even a child knows that only few Iranian women have plaster on their nose due to rhinoplasty under western lifestyle influence but as always you are doing tto much exaggeration against shia women specially against Iranians women based your biased mindset & racism which you have it due to being influenced by anti Shia & anti Iran propaganda of msm & wahabi propaganda against shia muslims .
I wouldn't insult your mother, but what I would say about you is perhaps get yourself a girlfriend. All that knowledge you have about mutah and marriage, it's a shame it's never been used! What a waste of all that copying and pasting laws.. I suppose it'll come in handy when the time is right InshaAllah. When you go on that first date, you'll have all those links to bring up whether you're allowed to hear her voice naturally or if she'll have to speak through a voice changer in case some kind of human emotion is evoked from you. Good luck with that brother!
Bro I love shia women..... And shia women love me! I love the rhinoplasty ones too!!!!! I had this one Irani friend at college, after she got her nose straightened I didn't need to use a ruler anymore for my maths work.. I'd use her nose. And she was so kind too! I'm still in touch with her until today.. Her name is Negar! Everytime I see her I'm like what up Negar how you doing sis!!! Shall I introduce you?
Anyways please stop spreading propaganda and lies, I know you are part of Cointelpro. Everybody can see this.. You got Tupac set up and accused him of being a sufi. You collaborated in the jfk assassination.
The difference between male and female kafan is in some recommended pieces ( Female has an extra part ). After putting the dead body in the grave, it is recommended to untie the kafan and put the right cheek of the dead on earth.
Q: My grandmother has prepared her own kafan and kafans of her children and husband. All of them are alive at the moment. Is it an established practice? If yes, does it have any virtue in Islam?
Fortitude is a major prerequisite for handling dead bodies, the kafan merchants stress. Be it a body with a disfigured face, or partially or fully mutilated limbs, they cannot afford to be squeamish in their line of work. Anyone who feels queasy about handling dead bodies would not be able to perform rituals like applying red powder on the body or kohl on the eyelids of the corpse.
