Jeff and I have been quite busy over the last few months. Generating
the kit is still on our TODO list, but has had to suffer slightly. I've
been putting most of my spare time into Student Robotics [1], and Jeff's
been busy with his new career [2] (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
Jeff :-).

We still haven't resolved how people who purchase the kit are going to
be able to program our robots.

Cheers,

Rob

Hi Rob and others somehow connected to the formica project,

I, for one, would like to help on the software side. Maybe a software development team should be gathered? I personally have a few ideas on what the software should look like, and I guess there are a lot more of my kind, and the big problem is hardware here. As soon as that's available, some software development teams can gather in forums and IRC, and development can start pretty soon.

And as has been said too often, there are a lot of people interested in purchasing a kit. I estimate that everyone who liked arduino will like formica. This project can certainly become big, once kits become available and a decent SDK is available.

Greetings,
tulcod.
