An alternative to SimpleGeo: PlaceLogic

Dear former SimpleGeo Users,

I would like to introduce myself and offer an alternative service
offering that may help you replace the soon-to-disappear SimpleGeo
APIs. My name is Gil Kasparek, and I am the co-founder of PlaceLogic.
We have followed SimpleGeo's rise and demise closely, and are
convinced that, while their service offerings had market demand, their
business model may not have been the most viable.

PlaceLogic offers a highly scalable, configurable, cloud-based
platform as a service (PaaS). We are able to offer a wide variety of
services to empower location-aware mobile and web-based apps. And we
can easily add more, including custom-built services targeting your
needs.

We have two APIs specifically designed to meet the needs of SimpleGeo
customers. PlaceLogic Simple Migration API lets SimpleGeo subscribers
switch with minimal effort and cost by emulating SimpleGeo's API
endpoints and responses. And our PlaceLogic Advanced API is for
customers who can modify their apps and want additional location-based
analysis and processing features.
