Good morning Henrique,

Your FormEmailer script has been an unbelievable find for me as a Technology Coach in a very large school.  However, starting this morning (4/16/13), the script is not sending any emails.  Are you aware of any reasons that might prohibit this?  I have not adjusted any settings at all.  We use this system in my school as a means for students to request library passes.  We have had over 9,000 students use this feature as a means to digitize what a librarian assistant used to do (as her position was recently cut).

This email feature is vital for our operations on a daily basis.

Please advise oh wise one!!!!!

Thank you in advance sir.

Jared

Hi Jared Reck,

I haven't seen any changes here (yet, at least). But have you checked your quota? You may have just ran out of emails for the day. You can see it on the advanced tab on FormEmailer settings.

This quota is per account, so be sure to be logged in with the account that is sending the emails (i.e. if you have not used yours to set up the trigger).

Regards,

Henrique Abreu

Henrique,

I was looking at the Advanced Tab and through prior threads you wrote regarding Quotas etc.  It seems as though I am confused.  I have attached a screen shot of my Advance Tab.  I have 9 of these spreadsheets (one per period of the day) that send these emails.  I tried manually running the script again today and emails are still not going through.  It seems as though I still have my quota left.

Thoughts?  Please help!  Thank you so much sir!

Jared

There's no error messages? What's show up on the FormEmailer said column? And are you running it manually?

No.  There are no error messages.  It says "Email Sent".  No - I am not manually doing this.  I have a trigger for each form submit.  I was just doing it manually in attempt to figure out the issue.  However, I am getting MANY Delivery Delay email messages from
Mail Delivery Subsystem [mailer...@google.com]

with the following message in the body of the email:

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification

THIS IS A WARNING MESSAGE ONLY.

Well Jared, than it has nothing to do with the script. It's sending the email and the server is denying it. You should check with the destination server administrator.

Ok - so is it safe to say that this is not Google preventing me from sending emails?  It is probably our email server at school (destination) rejecting the email?

Thank you!

Jared

Yes, that's what Google is trying to tell you with this delivery error messages.

Henrique,

So in doing some testing in a "Real-world" Google account, I ran your script on a demo form I made.  (Note - the issues I am having are relative to getting the emails to go through successfully in a Google Apps for Education domain).  In the real-world account, I received the email at my school email (the problem email account noted above) without any problems.  Additionally, in cell B2 (Running automatically) on the FormEmailer tab, there is a "No" in my domain account and there is a "Yes" in my real-world account (see screen shots).  I have triggers set in both.......any more thoughts please?

I am just confused now that I am successfully receiving emails from the script to my school email in a real-world account but not from my domain account that is linked to my school email.

Thank you so much for all of your help!  This script has truly changed the efficiency by which we operate in a school setting!

Regards,

Jared

That does not seem to be relate do this script. You're probably in the wrong forum.

Is there a fix for this yet?

I have the same problem.  I don't see where everyone can see the mysterious Google notice but per the Advanced tab in the FormEmailer settings, it says I have 98 remaining in my Quota.  I attempted to send once today (I have it set to send to 2 email addresses my main in the TO: and whatever the submitter gives in a field in the form as the CC:) as a test after waiting 3 days to see if it was a spam review on Google's part but alas, the quota limit goes down but the emails are not sent and it still says "Quota limit reached" in the FormEmailer Status column  (A by default I imagine).

I haven't even released this yet as I was testing out the email look after it would send.  I'm sure I have managed to send a total of 5 emails successfully via FormEmailer over the course of 1 week using the same 2 email addresses but as of 3 days ago, I cannot get it to send anything.

I guess I can rely on the Tools option of sending a notification email when someone submits a response but the script was pretty cool when it was working.  If it isn't the code, is there an option hidden within google somewhere that I am missing?
