I have used FormEmailer on a Google App I create every year.  I used a Google Form to create a student pass for teachers in our school.  FormEmailer helps to send the pass to the correct teachers.  This year when I try to install FormEmailer the following message pops up in red "UiApp has been deprecated.  Please use HtmlService instead."

I have tried to look online for a fix.  After attempting to replace a couple of lines, I am still getting the same message.

Any thoughts?

Hi Donald,

I updated FormEmailer here to bypass the UIApp deprecation

https://github.com/clyall/FormEmailer

Also that's an awesome use case! Very creative

Hello.

I am trying to create a new project using the your new FormEmailer script.   I created the 4 HTML files and started the process of copying and pasting the contents of the zip folders.   However, I was only able to use the Code.gs file.   The other 4 files are in the zip drive at .htlm and not .txt

When I click on the .html files no text opens up in the window to copy and paste. Suggestions?
Thanks

Open those ones in Notepad or something similar.

Hello.  I am getting the same error.  I see this note you posted.  What do I need to do to get it working again?

Hi There!!

I'm so glad to have found this thread. I have been running the original script for a few years as well and now getting the error message for the UI. Does anyone have a new completed script that can be copied and pasted over the old one? I downloaded the script from the link above, but I'm still getting an error. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Thank you!!!
