Losing test email from standard email server to gmail server

My current set up for helping a client is as follows:

Formemailer sends out blast, including a test email to a ****e@****.com email address

the ****e@****.com is forwarded to a gmail.com address however, between the send and the receive, the email never makes it to the ****.com server.

This just started to happen.  Anything sent directly to the ****.com or the gmail.com address goes through, but the minute I send a sample test to the ****.com address, it disappears.

Any idea?

(confusing I know but hope this makes some sense.)
