I couldn't find this topic via a search, so forgive me if this has already been answered, but it seems like FormEmailer is creating a duplicate copy of files attached to the form (contained in separate folders) in the root Google Drive directory. Hopefully that explanation makes sense.

Am I mistaken? If not, is there a way to prevent FormEmailer from creating those duplicate files?

I have no idea of this... anyway, FormEmailer was developed way before this form's feature existed so that might be a real issue indeed, but I really doubt so.

FormEmailer just works with the data on the spreadsheet it is attached too, files on Google Drive shouldn't make any difference and are not "touched" in any way.

So I figured out what was happening through some testing with various Google accounts. What I didn't understand is that when you submit a form through Google, it stores a copy of the file you submitted to your personal Google Drive account. So what was happening was on the account I had created the forms, I was also submitting test forms. When I submitted the test form, not only did it store a copy in the Response folder, but it also stored a copy in the root directory. When I submitted the form using a different account from the form creation account, it did not store a copy of the file in the root directory of the form creation account (but it did store in the submission account).

So for anyone doing testing on their forms, be aware that you'll see duplicates of the files you upload.
