My FormEmailer has worked wonderfully since installing it until recently.  Starting about a week ago, we have started to get duplicate emails.  Instead of sending one email, now I am getting two identical emails.  I have not changed any settings.  Any idea how I can remedy this?  Thank you!

Have you shared your spreadsheet with anyone else?

When you compare your emails, do they come from the same account? (expand the header to check)

Thank you for your reply.

Yes, they are all coming from the same account, mine.  The form emails to myself and my principal and we are both getting 2 identical copies.

There's surely something wrong in your setting. You either set the trigger  twice with the same account or with two different ones. There's no other way.

Have you actually checked it or just typed it here in the email? Anyway, I can't help you further was it would require me accessing your account, etc.

I'm actually have the same problem.  FormEmiler has been great, but about a week ago, I started getting double emails.  I have not changed any triggers and I'm the only user of this spreadsheet. I've gone through all the instructions on checking settings and looking for multiple instances of FormEmailer running and can't seem to find the culprit.

That was about the same time that mine started acting up and I still can't figure out why.  I figured, worse case scenario, I will just delete the extra email.

Are you guys using the spreadsheet on form submit trigger or the time-driven one?

It turns out this is a known issue with Google Apps Script.

Anyway, if you were using the time-driven trigger, as I recommend on the script instructions, web-page, etc. You would not have this problem (which may happen under certain conditions even after they fix it).
