Today is Monday and Keith is having "Monday Blues" like usual. He is so bored as the subjects today are not vary interesting and now he os having Geography lesson, the subject that he hates most! The Geography class starts from 9.00 am till 9.30 am. So, Keith is hoping that time will fly as fast as a lightning. Actually, Keith is a very noisy and naughty boy. But when the Geography lesson started, he will be the most quiet boy in whole world. He will not speak a word unless his teacher asks him something and sometimes, if his teacher, Miss Joanna or her glamour name, Miss JLo , asks him something, he will nod or shake his head only. As usual he does his work quietly at his own place. But in his mind, he is thinking about the clock which keeps on ticking every second. He really hopes the time now is already 9.10 am as he wants to finish class early and make noise again.
Later, Miss JLo , the Geography teacher passed them some handouts. She asks them to pass up the handouts by the end of the class. Keith finished up early as he does not know the answers to the handouts. He really dislikes the subject. A few minutes later,Miss JLo walks around the class to observe the students whether they are doing the work given or not. She passed by Keith as he finished it. She feels a bit weird that Keith finished the given handouts earlier than the other students but, he never scores high marks even a "B" in Geography.
Keith does not know what to do, so he keeps on sharpening his pencil. Keith hopes that the time will fly faster. While Miss JLo still observing the students whether they have completed their handouts, Keith is still thinking about the time. He seriously hates the subjects, especially old Miss JLo. He hopes that it is 9.30 am. He feels curious because he thinks that it is already 9.30 am, which means the time is up. But old Miss JLo is still in the class. He keeps on sharpening his pencil, hoping that Miss JLo quickly leave the class. He starts to feel more uncomfortable in the class.
Keith waits for so long for the class to end. He can only imagine time passing by. He is not paying his fullest attention to the teacher in front. He is daydreaming about what to do when he is at home later that evening. He looks around to see what his friends are doing. Looks like none of his friends have finished the handouts. When Miss JLo is not around, he turns his head to look at the clock at the back of the class.
Unfortunately, the time does not seem like he imagine just now. He feels very shock as he thought that the time was already 9.30 am, but the minute hand of the clock just move three minutes past nine. He feels more uneasy sitting in Miss JLo's class as the ticking sound of the round red clock ticks as slow as a snail.
Seeing that the time is not as what he has expected, he feels very disappointed and bangs his head down onto the desk. Miss JLo, who is teaching in front of the class, feels weird and keeps asking herself why is the boy doing an action that can hurt himself. She then walks towards Keith and asks him whether he has any problem or not. Keith realises that if he tells his teacher the truth, she will be frustrated. So, he gives his teacher another acceptable reason so that the teacher does not think something badly.
