Our Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak said the Malays should use their strength and capabilities to adapt to the challenges of the rapidly changing global environment instead of continuing to rely on government protection. He advised us to embrace the ideals of the 21st century Malay of being open-minded, competitive and having the strength and determination to succeed.Besides, if we depend on protection, it cannot guarantee our survival. Other than that, he said we have to be nimble and flexible in our actions and stop being rigid and bureaucratic as this will make it difficult for us to embrace change.
