Cats left to starve in empty pet hotel

PETALING JAYA (Sept 8, 2011): Pet owners filed police at the Police Headquarters here Tuesday evening against Petknode Online Petstore accusing it of alleged cheating and breach of trust.
      About 300 cats were rescued after they were allegedly starved in a locked “pet hotel” where their owners had left them to be cared for over the Hari Raya holidays.With the help of the police they had to break into the premises in Damansara Damai to rescue the cats.
     Petknode apologised for not taking care of the welfare of their customer's cats and for their lack of responsibility in taking care of it.The customers of this pet hotel are still furious about the incident because the police are not taking serious action against the owner of the pet hotel,Petknode.
