SP stands 6 feet 6 inches tall with a photogenic smile and
sly grin he is a master hip-hop lyricist. Born Kenneth Preshon and later nicknamed
�Sly Polaroid� or �Sly�, he was raised on the South Side of Chicago. As the ninth
child of 15, he was lured by the fast life and rush of the streets learning early
how to hustle to survive.
Surrounded by drugs and violence, Sly never aspired to become a rapper.
It wasn�t until he performed in a grammar school talent show that he realized his
hip-hop talent. As time passed, his strong presence on the microphone and witty
punch lines instantly made him a very sought-after artist. He was the likely next
up-and-coming rapper to emerge nationally from Chicago�s hip-hop scene. Unfortunately,
caught up in street crimes, Sly�s career would take a detour forcing him to serve
prison time.
Expressing
no regrets, as tattooed on his shoulder, Sly is back and focused ready to launch
his rap career to the next level. Extracting from his real-life experiences, his
upcoming releases are authentic expressions of everyday life in Chicago�s ghettos.
With the overwhelming response to his first mixtape, �The Clarification,� Sly felt
it only right to bless his listeners with his latest project, "The Inauguration",
as he takes the position of the President of the United Streets of America.
"CHANGE THE STREETS BELIEVE IN" as his motto, Sly is clearly a talent
to watch as he positions himself to become the next hip-hop mogul.�
