Please to announce that the implementation of FIX connectivity for the
Forex General applications (FRF, 4-REX, FXNewsHunter and TAC) has been
added and will be available in the next release.
This connectivity has been long waiting, and uses the open-source
QuickFIX Engine.
Forex General encompasses different FDM's and their communication
protocols, with the first to include an active FIX connection. FIX
trading is typically reserved for institutional/wholesale traders
while Metatrader is targeted to the retail market.
