Dear all,
We are pleased to announce our latest “Forest Carbon Tools and Resources” platform. Accurate estimation of forest carbon is important in developing forest carbon/ REDD+ projects. Proper monitoring of the carbon is needed in generating carbon credits in both national and international carbon registries under the compliance and voluntary carbon markets. On the social aspect, processes like Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) are important when it comes to indigenous people and local communities and these communities and developers should be made aware of these processes.
This new platform provides a list of tools and resources that are invaluable for forest carbon/ REDD+ activities.
The page can be accessed from: http://www.forestcarbonasia.org/publications/tools/
If you wish to list your forest carbon tool or resource, please download the form. Kindly fill out the form and email to sub...@forestcarbonasia.org
