I like using gls() to fit regressions b/c it permits use of varFuncs to model heteroscedasticity.

To my dismay, however, I just found out that the predict function used in conjunction with a model object from gls() will not produce se.fit values nor will it generate intervals.

Is there a ready made alternative function, or will I have to write my own to do the job?

Tim

Hi Tim,

I poked around a few of the packages that I like to use and didn't see
anything useulf --- e.g. the excellent estimable fucntion from gmodels
doesn't work --- I think that you'll have to roll your own.

Best wishes

Andrew
