Hi everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m Marta Keller, and I’m proud to call Forest Creek home. My husband and I, along with our two daughters (and a bonus third daughter this year—our lovely foreign exchange student from Italy!), have been part of this community since 2020. Last year, I was voted in as the Event Planning President for Forest Creek (or EPC for short).

Historically, the EPC has hosted a few fun neighborhood events each year, like the Spring Egg Hunt, a summer gathering, and our biggest event of all—the Forest Creek Hayride! If you’re new around here, the Hayride is a magical tradition where we ride through the neighborhood on a trailer to view the winners of our Holiday Lights competition. It’s a treat for kids and adults alike!

I’ll be honest—the EPC has struggled in recent years, especially since COVID, to keep a strong group of volunteers. I’m hoping this year is different! We need volunteers to help make the Hayride a reality, and the perk of volunteering (besides meeting wonderful neighbors) is that you get first dibs on a time slot for you and your family to enjoy the ride.

Even if you can’t help out this time but think you might be interested in the future, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s make the Event Planning Committee a thriving part of Forest Creek again, creating memorable events that bring us all together!
