Bill,      Yesterday I immediately e-mailed Claudia about her incorrect quotes, but as of today she has not made the necessary correction. As you can imagine I am already getting e-mails and phone calls about her quote.      Specifically Claudia states the "Bruce Spencer supports the corrective actions and FSC critique of forestry at Quabbin and cannot support what is currently planned and implemented there". In my correspondence with Claudia I did not mention the corrective actions required by the audit, but said that the audit problems (justified) were on the north Quabbin.  I also said that the two south Quabbin foresters were doing excellent work and  easily passed the audit.       These are stressful times for all and any quote attributed to me that doesn't distinguish the poor cutting practices of the north Quabbin with the excellent forestry of the south Quabbin would be seen as nothing short of betrayal.
