with a new account (deleted .config/chromium) I cannot sign into chromium and sync, for versions >25.0.1364.173+2013.03.13-1-1 particularly interesting is the case where one selects the option "choose what to sync" after clicking the triple bar > sign into chromium because it stalls at https://www.google.com/intl/en-US/chrome/blank.html?source=3&nonadv=1 this does not happen with version 25.0.1364.173+2013.03.13-1-1 only those above.

Fixed Trove Versions: chromium=27.0.1453.116+2013.06.16-1-1
Resolution: Fixed
After a couple of months, I decided to update chromium to its latest version, and the sync issue appears to be gone with chromium=27.0.1453.116+2013.06.16-1-1.
