3. Be ready to display your draft proposal on screen for all to comment on

MSc AC/CI/DCT/ITM class of 2013 and 2014

This message should be forwarded to all Masters students in School of Computing and Informatics
A meeting is arranged for Mid January 2016 to address delays in completion of MSc projects
Students are required to do the following
1. Read and understand the MSc project guidelines; in particular the roles and responsibilities of the student
2. Read and understand the examination regulations of the programme you are registered in. In particular the project regulations and the conditions under which a student can be discontinued from the programme
3. Read several sample project reports submitted by SCI students who have recently completed. These reports are available in the University erepository
4. Consult students who have recently completed, many of them are willing to share their experience
Further to the above, students are required to come prepared with
1. Root cause why they have not completed their projects
2. Corrective action to address the root cause
3. Draft project proposal
4. Readiness to register for the new project cycle commencing Jan 2016
The meeting is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday January 20, 2016 from 4pm to 6pm
