Hey Guys,
Katri has left the Foreign ministry of Finland. Here are extracts from the mail she sent me.
"Yes, after a five weeks super nice holiday, during which I had time to reflect, on Monday 17 August, I walked into the office, in perfect suit, hair and makeup, like a queen or lottery winner, totally certain of my desicion: opened the computer, wrote my resignation, took it to the admin people, came back to the office and broke the knews to Renne etc, went to stockmann to buy a cake. served cake to those interested and told that I am leaving on the spot, which I did. Most people were quite shocked. Renne was totally shocked. He had relied a lot on me. I did not have another job to go to. Just left. Had enough.
Workwise: I am starting my own business empire:) A
communications and pr firm which I will call "Silvertråden" (silver cord in
Swedish, very new age), concentrating on translations and some pr stints, mostly
translations, though, for now, and pr stints only to keep me used to being
around people. I am interested in participating in festivals and seminars and
have a project for next year (environment related) in Mexico City (not for sure
but prospective)."
N.B: Meanwhile I have returned from Paris to join Tehelka, a very well known investigative magazine in India, as a business journo.

I'm sorry to hear about Katri, but just want to take the opportunity to invite everyone to come to Brazil (specially Rio) in 2016!!!
